I had better experiences elsewhere. The room I stayed in was not in great condition.

The beach location was excellent, though the beach itself is short and small. The staff were friendly and helpful. My Deluxe room was small but cozy. However, compared to the description in the booking, it lacked a hair dryer, bathrobe, terrace, and ironing set, and the Wi‑Fi was insufficient.

The breakfast food was good, but the cleanliness was lacking and the 4‑star rating felt misleading.

The food was good, the room was comfortable and well maintained, and I especially liked the complimentary teas in the room—a nice touch. The hospitality and overall experience were enjoyable. On the morning of check‑out, housekeeping approached me about leaving the room about 30 minutes before the stated check‑out time. I had to remind her that check‑out was at 10:00 a.m., yet she kept insisting she needed to clean the room. I understand housekeeping must prepare rooms for incoming guests, but this should be handled so that guests can use their full allotted stay without feeling rushed.

“Glad it was over.”

Not much to say positively; Salima needs more modern, accessible hotels, and the repeated scam of insisting on US$ instead of local currency, then overcharging on the black market, feels almost criminal.
