Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square by IHG

The city view was great, the beds were clean and comfortable, the accommodation had a pool, hot tub, microwave, and refrigerator—all of which were excellent. Customer service was not disappointing, and the restaurant food was good.

The spot was spot on, and the bed was insanely comfy. The car valets were lightning‑fast and friendly, and the gentleman who handled our check‑in was super nice and efficient. On the downside, there were flies buzzing around the breakfast bar—hard to avoid but still gross when you’re paying a premium. The bartender on Saturday night wasn’t very friendly either, probably just having a rough night.

“Not friendly”

The location was decent. The staff, however, were nowhere near friendly—especially the receptionist and the valets.

We absolutely loved the location; it was within walking distance to the Wolstein Center and all the restaurants.

“Cleveland Hidden Gem”

The room was large and super comfy, hitting every box. It’s a short walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and there’s bus transport right outside the hotel. The hot breakfast that comes with the stay was tasty, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
