I recently stayed at a hotel that had its share of mixed experiences. While the rooms were comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed the bath, I was taken aback by a strong, unpleasant odor near the bed that seemed similar to a dead rodent. Unfortunately, the brown stains on the bed sheets further raised concerns about the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene, making my stay quite uncomfortable.
“They were fully booked and sent me to a BnB that has an open plan toilet, bedroom and kitchen”
I was initially impressed that the hotel accepted my booking despite being fully booked, but this turned out to be a false promise. Instead of providing me with a room at their property, they sent me to a separate B&B that was not worth the money I paid. The B&B had a single room with the bedroom, toilet, and kitchen all in one space with no separate doors or entrance, which was not what I had expected.

I was initially impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of my room, and the bed was particularly comfortable. However, my stay was marred by a couple of issues - I had specifically requested two single beds, but was given a queen bed instead. Additionally, I got stomach cramps after drinking the water from the jug in my room, which was a bit of a concern.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this hotel, mainly due to the unfriendly and rude staff member who seemed to be on duty during our stay. Upon arrival at 11 pm, she made it clear that we were late, despite knowing that guests were arriving. The next morning, my husband was denied access to the garage when he tried to leave a bit early, as the staff member insisted that it was check-out time, even though it was only 9:50 am and our actual check-out time was 11 am.
