“Extrêmement Déçus, sans intérêt”

The bungalow was new, but the location was poorly marked, the owner didn’t greet us, there were 10 pages of useless instructions, the sheets were fuzzy, the bungalow sat under the owner’s house windows, the owner’s dog’s droppings were everywhere around the bungalow, and the breakfast felt industrial.

The accommodation was very comfortable with clever use of space, a nice coffee‑bean machine, very comfy bedding and a planned breakfast – everything was great, yet I didn’t expect to be so far from any town. It wasn’t a problem per se, but I thought I’d booked in Bourg‑des‑Comtes based on the listing, and the description didn’t make the kitchen details clear and mentioned extra charges for sheets that were actually included.

“Parfait pour une coupure !”

The staff were really welcoming, even with the weather being pretty rough - that's a big plus. The bed was super comfy too. Only downside was nothing out of the ordinary, just a pretty standard stay.
