Sleep at Hamtingh's aan de Vrijthof

The hosts were super friendly, the accommodation was very clean, and breakfast was plentiful and lovingly prepared. The room had a minibar and free coffee, which was also delicious. Just remember that there’s a steep staircase between the bedroom and bathroom, which might be a hurdle for some. All in all, we had a great weekend and we’ll definitely return.

“Relaxed”

The reception was warm and welcoming.

The host was friendly and pleasant, breakfast was delicious, all utilities were available for a short stay and the place was tidy. There was a separate bedroom with an extra bed. Shops are within walking distance. It was very hot in summer without air‑conditioning, and the large bed was actually two beds side by side. The stairs are very steep.

The host was very nice, thoughtful, and kind. She even helped hang decorations and set a cake. Breakfast was very extensive, the rooms were very clean and felt almost idyllic like an old English country house. I definitely want to come back. There was absolutely nothing negative; the photos don’t do the stay justice.

Breakfast was fine. The people were super friendly. The location right in the middle of Hilvarenbeek is also good. It was very hot and we slept on the attic without air‑conditioning. Because I’m not great at stairs, it was a real disappointment that I had to climb two flights and that the bathroom wasn’t on the same floor as our bedroom.
