Hotel Laura's House in Costa Rica faces Coco Bay, offering an outdoor pool, free Wi‑Fi, and air‑conditioned rooms with cable TV, towels, showers, and complimentary toiletries. Located 200 m from the town’s main street, it provides luggage storage and concierge assistance for volcano tours. Playa Coco Beach lies 100 m away, and a bus departs every 30 min from the airport, 30 min drive.

This little hotel quickly became one of our favorites – Laura takes the time to make you feel welcome and the atmosphere is really peaceful. The four‑person room was a bit cramped, but the numerous cute outdoor corners easily distract you from that.

Being just a few steps from the city centre and the beach, plus having a nice pool area and genuinely friendly staff, made the stay pleasant. The only drawback was a bit of nighttime noise from passing cars and a dog.

Everything was solid – the pool was crystal‑clear, the room clean and comfortable, and the night lighting near the beach worked well. Breakfast could use a better menu, but otherwise I was happy with my stay.

The owner was attentive and the facilities and room were kept tidy, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the shower didn’t perform as well as I’d hoped.
