The host’s welcome was friendly, and the à la carte dinner used local products. The property’s setting was quiet and relaxing, and the air conditioning was a plus during a heatwave, though the walls seemed well insulated. I paid 100 € for a double comfort room with a 131‑150 cm bed without breakfast, which felt too expensive. The booking description didn’t match reality: the mattress was thin and only moderately comfortable; the bathroom sink was cracked in places and had no shelf for toiletries; the TV was positioned so it couldn’t be seen from the bed. Arriving on 21 August, the outdoor pool was closed and covered with leaves; when I mentioned this to the owner, she replied that it wasn’t dirty, and it wasn’t until our departure on 23 August that the motor ran and the vacuum cleaned the pool, so we never used it. In that case, it would be better not to list the outdoor pool in the description. The wine (25 €) from Juliette was a bit pricey for a direct owner without an intermediary. Note that breakfast and dinner are not in the same location as the rooms; you have to leave and walk along the vineyard.
