Un Hotel sur le Port is situated in La Rochelle's old harbour, 5 minutes from the aquarium and tourist office. Fully air-conditioned, rooms feature private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and Wi-Fi. La Rochelle Cathedral and Orbigny-Bernon History Museum are a 10-minute walk away. La Rochelle Train Station is 300 meters from the hotel, with a buffet continental breakfast served on site.

The staff were truly adorable. The hotel sits almost on the port, yet the neighborhood remains very quiet. It’s clean, comfortable, and well insulated. Thanks again to the reception team for helping us retrieve our PCs despite our delay. Excellent value for money. The only drawback was the oddly designed bathroom/wc door.

The room was very clean. The hotel is near the aquarium and the South port, with a view of the illuminated Ferris wheel at night. There’s a wide range of restaurants nearby, from the most popular to the most refined.

A small downtown hotel that’s very pleasant and in a prime spot, with parking just two steps away. The city center is close by. The staff were very helpful and friendly; I highly recommend it. The only issue was the lack of an elevator, but that’s still manageable.

The location is great. The downside was the sewer smell that returned if the window wasn’t left open. Apparently the room will be renovated—worth checking out.

The staff were welcoming, and the room’s décor had a pleasant color scheme. It’s close to the city. The downside was hearing the neighbors in the adjacent room talking loudly.
