“Rozczarowujący 🤷🏻”
Silence was almost like the end of the world, but I still managed to sleep—probably because the mountains tired me out. The staff were nice, but the owners cared about the property only inconsistently. The gate we enter through is intimidating with a parking ban sign, and there’s no nearby spot to leave the car before checking in. Phone reception in the village is nonexistent, so you can’t call the hotel. The room and breakfast area look like a random collection of old items. The room door locks are stubborn and frustrating after a long drive; good luck if you’re stuck in a room that’s hard to lock. The renovated bathroom still has a cheap toilet and an old sink, and the door is poorly fitted, opening with great effort. The front door could use better alignment. A note with the house rules mentions Wi‑Fi, but the password is outdated—how can a place with less than ten rooms manage that? There’s no kettle in the room, only one in the hallway for shared use. Paying for coffee by dropping coins into a piggy bank is absurd and shows how out of date the place is. The staff will ask if you want breakfast but won’t mention the cost (I thought it was included) until you’re “caught” paying at checkout. The room was clean, but I’m not sure why I paid 350 zł per night. The photos look nice, but the reality is neglect and lack of transparency from the owners.
