I loved every detail: the room was beautiful, the service was excellent, the beach was very close.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever – I don’t recommend it! We left Globales Santa Lucía feeling like we’d wasted our money. The food was terrible, flavorless, low quality, and almost no variety. In Mallorca, Spain, we expected Spanish dishes with local ingredients, but it felt like a British resort: fish with fries, curry, and bland food every day. We ended up leaving the hotel, eating at nearby restaurants, and paying for a Balinese beach bed instead. That sums up the dining situation. Drinks were also disappointing: bottled drinks poured straight into tall plastic glasses, no care, no preparation, no flavor. No cocktail shaker, no prepared ice, no mix. Beer seemed cheap and low quality. The pool was another absurdity: to get a lounger you had to wake up at 7 am or 8 am to place your towel and secure a spot; otherwise, good luck. It felt like a competition for loungers rather than a quiet vacation. The room’s air conditioning was practically useless, making nights extremely uncomfortable. The beds were two single beds placed together for a couple, with a constant gap between them – very uncomfortable and not what we expected when booking a couple’s room. There was also a huge gap under the door, so anyone walking down the corridor could be heard inside the room. Footsteps and movements were constantly audible, waking us up early unnecessarily.

Unfortunately, nothing. The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We paid extra for the “all-inclusive” package, but the hotel offered nothing all-inclusive. It felt like an extra charge or deposit for everything. We had to pay extra just to use the safe, pay and leave a deposit to get an iron, and pay/deposit for towels. I’ve traveled widely and never seen an “all-inclusive” hotel charge for such basic amenities. Even the drinks were misleading. All-inclusive guests received a separate, limited menu with cheaper drinks instead of ordering from the regular menu. The beach was not part of the property as the listing suggested; it was separate, and if you wanted a lounge chair you had to pay again. The room itself was another nightmare. The hair dryer overheated after about three minutes and then stopped working for roughly 15 minutes while it cooled down. We reported it and asked for another one, but the hotel refused to replace it. The door was constantly squeaking; they eventually fixed it after we complained. Housekeeping also failed to replenish the water bottles in our room after cleaning. For a hotel advertised and sold as an adults-only, all-inclusive, the entire experience was unacceptable. We paid specifically for the convenience of all-inclusive and instead dealt with additional charges, deposits, broken amenities, missing basics, and poor service. I would absolutely not stay here again and would not recommend paying extra for their “all-inclusive” package.

The hotel is very close to the sea. Not all the doors that should be open are, and you have to walk a lot to get around.

The location is good. It’s dirty and made for foreigners; Spaniards don’t paint anything.
