We found our own peaceful oasis! The room was huge, the balcony was big, and the property gardens were lovely. The room was very clean, had great air‑con, and a fridge.

“A very good place to reset your body and mind.”

The apartment sits in a calm part of the island, inside a garden overlooking the lagoon/lake. The beach is a 10‑minute walk away, though it’s not recommended to swim because of waves and currents. The owner runs a small restaurant with perfect food, and there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. Waking up to birds was lovely, and we saw monkeys in the garden in the morning. It’s a great spot to reset body and mind, and I’d definitely come back. The humidity in the area often gives apartments a slight damp smell, and this one was no different. However, opening the windows and using the AC helped us a lot.

Quiet, calm, good location, close to a family café with tasty food and a varied menu. The room is good for its price, but I wouldn’t mind paying more if it had an electric kettle and a fridge, and the AC needs replacing because it’s very noisy. Despite the small flaws, the stay was very enjoyable. I recommend it.

The host was friendly, the place itself was lovely, and everything else was great; the restaurant was also really nice.
