“Raum für Verbesserung”

The large, beautiful property with its charming old building, lovely pool, spotless surroundings, and a stunning room with high ceilings was a highlight. The staff tried hard, yet a few smiles and more hospitality would have been appreciated. Breakfast fell short: the scrambled eggs and pancakes were cold even though we arrived just after 9 am, the rolls were hard (probably from the previous day). There is no hair dryer in the room. Also, guests should know that the staff leave the premises at 8 pm and the elevator shuts off then. Overall, it was fine for one night, but the price‑value ratio didn’t suit us.

The facilities, the calmness, and the staff’s attentiveness were great, but the access to the village was a problem.

The staff were very professional, the place was perfect for resting, and the wine was nice. The road from Regua is in bad shape.
