The cabin in Unit 3 had a lovely rainforest view, but the place looked a bit worn and could use some TLC; the resort’s presentation felt lacking. I struggled with the sliding screen door that didn’t open or close smoothly, the cups and glasses in the unit were dirty, and the toilets in the shared area were really unclean.

The location was close to the beach, and the owner Philip made the house feel like home—just a 2‑minute drive from the CBD, yet still within walking distance of shops and everything you need. It was spotless and I think it’s worth more than what we paid.

We definitely recommend staying here! We really enjoyed our time; the spot is right in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful birds, making it a peaceful and special place. The only downsides were that everything was clean and tidy but a few things felt a little dated, and you’ll need a car to get around and explore the nearby area.
