It was quiet, but the price‑to‑value ratio was off; my room was like a spare room on the ground floor with barely any space, just a single sofa and an unclean bedding set. I arrived at night and could barely find the light in the dark.

For one night it was completely fine, but there was no staff to be seen anywhere. The hotel’s restaurant was closed, breakfast was only offered on weekdays, not weekends, the shower was cramped, the shower door opened inward, and if you’re corpulent you’ll find it hard to get in or out.

The rooms were super tasty for the price, clean and neat, and nowhere as worn as we might have expected for that cost; the beds were good, the bedding and towels were soft and lovely. It felt a bit odd that it was entirely self‑service. We were there on a Saturday and apparently there was no staff at all. Luckily there were no problems, but otherwise we would have been on our own.
