Everything was fine; we stayed for one night and left early. The only thing we didn’t like was that the floor was dirty, almost like it had sand.

“Accueil agréable et joli village, mais propreté à revoir..”

The accommodation sits in a cute little village and the host welcomed us warmly. The kitchen comes with a microwave, stove, oven and utensils like pots, plates, cutlery, etc., plus Wi‑Fi. The room was roomy. However, the room wasn’t very clean – hair, stains on the towels, the toilet wasn’t cleaned, and the kitchen had the same issue. The kettle was unusable because of heavy limescale. It’s really a shame.

“a decent ‘value’ stay an hour drive up the hill from Los Gigantes”

The inn is charming, a renovated old establishment with a shared kitchen and common area in a town up a winding road. A new ‘super’ highway connects travelers to the southern resort area of the island nearby, and the restaurants in Santiago del Teide are close by. The place is a bit damp; black mold shows on the ceiling above the shower, and the common area echoes like a chamber.

Nothing positive. The main downside is that it isn’t advertised as being at the top of a mountain.

Nothing positive. The stay was humid, moldy, and cold, with a terrible location and no service up there.
