The hotel is gorgeous, set by the sea and surrounded by lush vegetation, making it a truly romantic spot, especially with the private pool in the room. The room itself was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were generally very friendly, and we enjoyed the restaurant. However, the cabin was poorly insulated: the folding walls didn’t close fully, letting in a lot of mosquitoes and heat. We had to use a fan and a portable air‑con, both very noisy, which made sleeping difficult. The pool light stayed on all night and leaked into the room. The bathroom was also uncomfortable. While we understand staying in nature has its quirks, there are details that could greatly improve comfort. Breakfast was unsatisfactory: the waitress didn’t explain what was included and then tried to charge us a high fee for extras.
