“A good cook.”
I could return there instantly; it felt like home. The room and bathroom were nice, and the food was good. The staff—warm, reliable, humble, and hardworking—made me feel truly welcome, especially Mr. Aied, whose kindness I will never forget. He works tirelessly from dawn to nightfall, juggling three roles as manager, cook, and cleaner. I doubt he’s paid what he deserves for all that work. The desert—sunlit and sprinkled with red sand—embraced me in a silence so profound that my heart and soul could finally rest beneath its star‑filled sky. Jordan is an island of peace amid wars that have flared around it for decades—an oil‑poor land that still welcomes refugees with open hearts. The experiences were unforgettable. The air conditioning failed in the afternoon, and mosquitoes entered the tent through gaps around the door, making the night uncomfortable. Some tents need regular maintenance; a few have curtains that fall down and others are missing items listed on Booking.
