Near the center, but the experience was awful. I landed from the airport, and the host told me there were no rooms, that I should come back tomorrow, even though I had a booking. I was shocked and demanded a room, so he handed me the son’s room, which was filthy and lacked air‑conditioning, exactly as I’d booked, and I was forced to pay the full amount. Only on the second day did he move me to the room I had actually reserved. The place was just dirty overall – I’ll never return.

The location was convenient and the hosts were friendly. We extended our stay on the spot with no hassle. The room was comfortable and clean, making it a solid base for exploring Luang Prabang and all its nearby attractions. The only downside was a strange, unexplained odor in the bathroom, and the shower temperature was inconsistent at times.
