Communication was very good, including restaurant suggestions. The key hiding spot could have been described better—specifying which door, etc.

The space is large and pleasant. There is a lot of late‑night noise coming from further down the street.

The apartment had a lovely vibe, was clean and well arranged. The owner’s communication was excellent when we needed to get in touch. Inside the building, a short staircase leads up to the apartment. We stayed just one night but would have liked to extend our stay. Jess, the owner’s daughter who runs the bar next door, made us feel very welcome. She helped us find parking for our three motorbikes; although the apartment has no parking, nearby free street parking is close but can fill up quickly. All three bikes fit into one parking bay. This is a superb stopover for exploring and riding the alpine passes on a motorcycle. The tiny balcony offers a view of the mountains. We met some of Jess’s friends, one of whom also had a motorbike, and another who was a huge football fan and had a good chat with my partner about football, with Jess translating occasionally. The only drawback was the lack of parking at the apartment, which can be an issue for motorbike travelers who prefer to keep their bikes out of sight; however, Biasca is very quiet and safe, and as long as you lock your bikes for your own peace of mind, there is no problem. The parking is not far from the accommodation.

The accommodation is about a 10‑minute walk from the train station. The room is on the first floor, has a balcony with a partial view of the mountains. The room was nicely furnished, the host was friendly and offered the option of breakfast at the bar in the adjacent building. A kettle was missing, otherwise everything was fine.

I was offered a “free upgrade to a holiday apartment” just before arrival, which turned out to be a huge mistake: the place sits directly above a noisy bar and was unbearably loud until 3 am, making sleep impossible. The apartment smelled musty, the furnishings were completely worn out, and none of the photos matched reality. The bathroom was old, moldy, dirty, and shabby, with tiles typical of the 60s or 70s, far from the modern, glass shower enclosure shown online; instead there was a shower basin with a yellowed wax curtain. The extractor fan didn’t work, likely because of the stale odor. There was no usable balcony or terrace as advertised, only a tiny balcony that a single person couldn’t step onto because the blinds wouldn’t open. The blinds were half‑closed, so the bedroom stayed dark all day, and the bedside lamps were broken. When we complained about the unacceptable condition, the landlord’s representatives in the bar told us the original apartment wasn’t available because it was long‑term rented for half a year, so the “free upgrade” was actually a fraudulent offer to a rundown holiday unit. Many pantry moths flew throughout the entire apartment, even in the bathroom and bedroom, which has no door. The rugs were stained, the double bed was sagging, and even just turning it over made a loud squeak. How does a place called “Ayurveda” get such an absurdly high rating of over eight points?
