The inn is surrounded by a lot of greenery and stays pretty quiet, which I appreciated. Maria and Raimundo are super friendly and always ready to point us toward local sights, and the breakfast always featured warm, homemade pies and cakes. On the downside, the listing says it’s beachfront, but you can’t actually see the sea from the rooms—just a short five‑minute walk away. The Wi‑Fi was spotty in our room, probably because it’s farther from the router, and breakfast didn’t start until 8 a.m.

My room was roomy and kept a comfortable temperature, and the breakfast spread offered plenty of options. While I heard some guests mention issues with certain rooms, I didn’t encounter any problems during my stay.

“Viagem em família”

Maria and Raimundo run the place and are genuinely nice people, and the rooms are large with a decent location. The only real drawback is the window‑type air conditioner—it rattles loudly enough to disturb sleep.

“Não indico”

We ran into a snake and some frogs in our first room, so we were moved, only to find the new room’s air‑conditioner malfunctioning. After another switch, the shower wouldn’t produce any water, and when we finally went back to the original room, the lights kept flickering every time we turned on the shower. Overall, two nights of constant room problems made for a pretty unpleasant stay.
