Some will say the lodging is adorably vintage, others that its old‑fashioned side deserves a serious refresh—it's a matter of taste; what everyone agrees on is the warm welcome from the host, the very good breakfast, and the ideal location for those who want a boat ride on the Marais Poitevin; the accommodation might not have offered the best value for money on our Atlantic coast trip.

The host greeted us with a smile and good humor, showed us our room and the amenities, then stepped back so we could relax in her sublime and spacious garden; we enjoyed the generous breakfast where we chatted a bit more with the host, a lovely moment that’s why we chose this type of accommodation!
