I like that it was near the beach and everything. I always stay at the Diamondhead Inn sister property, but this one was a little more complicated when I walked in and went to the bathroom. I found a lot of nats roaming around the the bathroom. The bathroom had a certain smell, I think I was right next to the trench dumpsters at the edge of the hotel on the right -hand side, close to the check-in entrance. Inside the hallway to the left when I came in, it had a certain funky smell. The AC was on once I walked into the bathroom. The shower towels were dingy almost dirty looking. I turned on the light inside the bathroom and there was 100s of gnats roaming around the bathroom. I am a yoga instructor and sometimes I stay at the Diamondhead Inn, which is my favorite spot to stay at. I also work from home and I have kids at my home sometimes I need an escape so I stay at the sister property. But this place was clean look clean the floor was kind of muggy slippery, but it looked cleaned. The smell was unbearable and the nuts. Well, I’m not gonna tolerate that. I did leave after an hour. I needed to take a shower due to the fact that I just came out of a yoga class and I was gonna begin to work. After I noticed more nuts and flies inside of the hotel, I went to the front desk to cancel the room the front desk clerk was very nice. She mentioned that. Yes I can get a cancellation and to ask to do so but I never got my money back. I’ve tried to contact, but they never answer. Via phone. I almost forgot to tell you guys when I grabbed the towel from the towel rack at least the little one that looks semi clean to wipe off my shower witness the towel holder broke. I almost fell and hit my head on the sink, but I do have a mean bruise on my shoulder because I tried to rest my arm onto the sink. It almost cost me an accident. The shower towel holder broke. It wasn’t placed very securely. That’s what made me just cancel the day stay
