The Karoo farmstead was nice, but it felt a little small.

The Lodge felt like a small oasis, the buffet breakfast was lovely and a great way to start our day before we hit the road again, and the frogs at night were a unique experience; the showers were a bit small, there were a lot of flies around the pool despite candles, and we eventually moved inside.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was delicious.

It was a comfortable place to stay and it’s close to Augrabies waterfall.

The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were all pleasant, friendly, polite and incredibly helpful; every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, and the reception area, rooms, dining area, pool area and location were all great. The only issue was my unit’s shower, where water pooled near the door instead of draining properly.
