Little Woodbine

“A little Gem”

A little gem just on the edge of Tain and within walking distance of all the shops. The accommodation had a hot tub, but we didn’t get to use it this time; next visit we’ll jump right in. The host was great and I’d definitely recommend this well‑equipped little gem to other visitors.

A cute little Pod that had everything we needed, but it was smaller than expected—just enough for two of us, not for anyone else.

The property is very well located for exploring northern Scotland, and the hot tub was an excellent addition to the stay. Both the property and the hot tub were absolutely spotless.

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful little holiday home!”

Little Woodbine is a beautiful little holiday home - very cosy, well furnished, nicely decorated, and everything that you need for a holiday in the highlands. The location is great - a short walk into Tain town centre with a good choice of restaurants and cafes, an easy drive (c45 mins) from Inverness, and well placed for exploring further north (John O Groats is about 2 hours). The host Gail is lovely, and a mine of useful information for planning days out. The Glenmorangie distillery is about 1 mile away and well worth a visit (we walked so that we could enjoy the tasters!), and a boat trip on Loch Ness is a must. There are many wonderful walks all within a short drive (the coastline is stunning!), and the hot tub at Little Woodbine is great for soothing aching legs!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Little Woodbine, situated in a tranquil spot yet close to everything we needed. The host was extremely welcoming and shared several local recommendations. The hot tub was lovely, cleaned daily, and the lodge itself was fully equipped with everything imaginable.
