Located in Addison, Texas, Hyatt House Dallas Addison features an outdoor pool, onsite restaurant, and free WiFi. Each room boasts a flat-screen cable TV, full kitchen with microwave, oven, stovetop, refrigerator, and toaster. The hotel offers a fitness center, hot tub, grocery deliveries, meeting facilities, and shared lounge. Golfing and tennis are nearby, with free parking and proximity to Galleria Dallas and Brookhaven College.

The pool was great and the room was a good size, but they charged me $25 a day for parking on top of already paying for the room; I had to pay for parking at the hotel I already paid to stay at.

The place was quiet and clean, but housekeeping knocked on the door and disturbed my sleep before checkout time.

It’s nice having a full kitchen, living room and bedroom—basically an apartment—but the kitchen isn’t well stocked and you never know what pans, pots, or utensils will be there. We have stayed here many times and sometimes there’s one small pot, 3 plates, 2 forks, 1 knife and a couple glasses. When the rooms are being cleaned and made ready for guests they should pay attention to the kitchen and make sure all of the basics, including cookware and sheet pans, are there. Breakfast is hit or miss. Only 1 waffle maker. When we stayed this weekend on Saturday it was link sausage, eggs and refried beans with sliced bread and fruit. Sunday it was sausage patties, soggy potatoes and eggs.

The room was clean, nice size with extra room, but breakfast had very few choices. The swimming pool was cloudy all the time so I did not risk going in.
