The location, facilities, design, spa area, and restaurant were all great, but the gravel road to the lodges lacked luggage service (suitcases were unsuitable), and spa access was only possible through the restaurant and the lobby for the lodges.

“Ganz aussergewöhnlich”

It’s amazing that there is even a property in such a remote spot, and the level of detail in the furnishings is extraordinary; we rarely slept in such a comfortable bed or enjoyed such amenities, but the journey there was very difficult.

The lodge’s location was a plus, but the value for money was terrible; spending over 800 Fr. per night, I expected the cappuccino with breakfast to be included, yet it was an extra charge. The sauna was filthy, with people drinking half‑litre beer in it and using it without towels – a huge hygiene issue, and the cloakrooms were just as unsanitary. Even though I had booked dinner in advance and asked for a nice window seat, we were shoved into the back corner because we were only two people; all other seats were reserved for groups of four or more, many of which appeared to belong to the neighboring campground. We felt cheated when lunch promised us a table, but it wasn’t delivered. We voiced our displeasure politely, but the staff were largely rude and unresponsive.
