The location was good, but the bird’s‑nest bed above the room was annoying.

The place was clean, hot water was available, privacy was maintained, and the location was very good. However, one room was too cramped for three people, leaving barely any space to move, and the host was initially rude and unpleasant toward us.

The hotel sits at the entrance of Saint Germa, about 500 m from the village centre, which is a steep walk (fortunately the steep part is when you head into the centre before eating). It’s a small, traditional building with stone walls. Our room was a front‑side one with a balcony overlooking the lakes and an excellent sunset (though we were there on the long weekend of May 1, when it was quite cold across the country, so we didn’t sit outside for long). The street is quiet, with a stream running beside it that creates a pleasant sound. Breakfast was fine for the price, featuring homemade jams made by the owner. The owner, Mr Christos, was courteous and helpful, ready to give directions about the area. The shower in the bathroom is a bit small and lacks a perimeter glass, so if you’re a bit taller or wider you’ll get soaked. The hotel lounge, which is very nice, is only open for breakfast; it would be nice if it were open at other times.
