B&B Perla, centrally located in Catania, sits a five‑minute walk from Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral, with the Amphitheatre just two minutes away. The boutique hotel offers private check‑in/out, a paid shuttle, lift, shared kitchen, minimarket, coffee shop, outdoor seating, hairdresser, family rooms, full‑day security, bicycle parking, bike and car hire, and a tour desk.

The location is great, and if you need a place for one or two nights I’d recommend it; the room is quite large with a separate bathroom, a small fridge, and a table with chairs. Check‑in was hassle‑free and the owner was easy to contact. We could leave our luggage for storage because of a late flight. The bathroom had a bad smell, and the building’s sewage system leaves a lot to be desired.
