“静かな夜を過ごせる宿”
The night offered a beautiful starry sky, and the morning showed a lovely sunrise. No complaints.

You can stay at a temple and experience a rare opportunity: in the morning you can join the temple’s morning service (Shingon), followed by a delicious breakfast of “bancha congee.” The rooms are simple and very clean. A cute Akita dog greets you as the mascot. It’s rustic, soul‑cleaning, and very calming. Dinner must be taken outside.

I had an amazing stay! The washbasin and shower area were spotless and comfortable. The surroundings were quiet and calm, yet there were tasty restaurants nearby, making the location very convenient. At night I could see a beautiful starry sky, which was fantastic! Sun, the dog, and Riku, the cat, were adorable and soothing. The most memorable part was the priest, who let me experience the service for the first time and even treated me to figs. He was very kind and warm, giving me a precious experience and a wonderful memory. I definitely want to return to this lovely place!

The hosts were friendly and the experience was special, but we were unlucky because a Taiko practice ran next door until 10 pm; after that it was quiet and we slept well.

The rooms were located on the temple grounds in a stunning setting. Guests could join the morning Buddhist service. I liked the dog Kai. The priest and host were kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed the simple temple breakfast. It’s a little remote, so you need to plan for quiet evenings.
