Charlotte Suites by IHG is situated less than five miles from the Billy Graham Library, Charlotte Convention Center, and the Mint Museum. The hotel is one mile from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and 12 miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway. Nearby attractions include Carowinds theme park, Uptown Charlotte, and Discovery Place Science Center, along with the SouthPark Mall.

The location is great. We couldn’t use the pool, which disappointed my kids a lot.

The night clerk was very nice and helpful, that’s the only positive thing. The fact that you have to pay to park is unbelievable. I wasn’t told this beforehand. If I had known, I would have chosen another hotel. It definitely isn’t worth the extra money for parking! I mean it’s deceptive that you’re not told until you arrive, and we were already at 10:30 pm! The rooms were average at best, curtains had holes and a musky smell. I would not stay here again.
