“Non existing management.”
Near downtown, but one elevator was out for the whole stay, making trips to the room a long wait. Loud noise at 2 am woke me up two nights in a row. I asked management to call or email me about the complaint, but never heard back. I have video of the second‑night noise.
“A pleasant stay at a nice hotel and good value for downtown Vancouver.”
The room was cozy, tidy, and quiet, and the staff went above and beyond—pointing me to bottled water and actually fetching a bottle for me. The keycard system was straightforward, the Wi‑Fi held up, and I appreciated that the TV ran on Roku so I could stream my own shows. The location is near downtown, but you have to trek down a rough part of Granville for about 15 minutes to reach Robson. It’s not terrifying, just a tad sketchy, and I’d avoid that walk after dark. Google Maps kept directing me to a non‑existent back entrance on a street called “Continental,” which is closed in the evenings anyway. An Uber driver told me cars can’t pull up at the front on Drake Street, which is confusing for sure.

The property has been updated to a certain extent. The room configuration was generous. The staff accommodated my request to store our luggage when we arrived in the morning. While rated as a 4 star, it's more like a 3 star hotel with some improvements, such as better HVAC system. Fitness center was closed
