The bedding, mattress and pillows in the room were very comfortable and clean, making for a great night’s sleep. I was in the room with two single beds, but the water pressure was low and the hot‑cold water kept fluctuating, which was annoying. The TV’s streaming box kept buffering and required a long wait for the connection to work, which was frustrating.

I expected a traditional courtyard guesthouse to feel dated, but the facilities were actually brand‑new and spotless, the hot water was plenty hot, and the host even kept an adorable black cat that made the stay even better. No negatives at all.

Room 101: The hosts were very friendly and kind, breakfast was good, and it was quiet. The only downside: the beds were small, the view from the first floor was limited, there was indoor car parking right in front of the room, and the location felt isolated.
