“Finger weg! Abzocke!”

I arrived in Ancona on the evening of 14.10.2026 by ferry from Greece, looking for a hotel near Modena or its surroundings with a very late check‑in. The hotel’s website listed the latest check‑in as 23:30, and my navigation said I would arrive at 23:15. I booked and received confirmation, then rode my motorcycle to the hotel. At 23:22 I stood in front of the CLOSED hotel and saw a text sent later about moving the latest check‑in to 23:00—this is impossible and totally unacceptable!

“Bruttissimo tutto”

The house was shared, and sharing the bathroom with men who had to clean it before use was awful; the kitchen had no coffee machine or pot to make coffee, and it was too expensive for nothing. The bed was uncomfortable and the whole building was noisy.

“TO AVOID !”

A terrible place that offers no privacy at all, not even a decent Airbnb. The kitchen and toilet are shared with other people, communication is difficult and impolite. The price is huge for what it is, and the announcement on the website should clearly explain that you are in fact sharing a basic apartment with strangers—it's not a hotel or an Airbnb, but it is very expensive.
