We didn’t have breakfast, but the supermarket was just around the corner, so that was fine. I’d suggest removing the bathtub and installing a walk‑in shower instead, since we were all over 60 and showering in a tub is uncomfortable and slippery. A few bumpers on the bedroom door frames would help, because when the windows are open the doors clatter.

The location by the water was perfect for us, since we arrived by boat. There was no WFI, but that’s not a disaster for a single person staying in a cabin.

The apartment is huge and fully equipped, making it ideal for arriving by boat like we did. We could even dock our boat right outside the apartment. The only downside was the communication – we didn’t know we had to request breakfast in advance. Luckily the nearby supermarket solved that problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Aqua in Oude Wetering. The place is very large, excellently furnished, spotless, and offers a dreamlike view. Nothing was missing. We especially want to highlight the warm and very friendly hosts who made our stay even more pleasant. We can recommend the apartment without reservation and will gladly return!
