The owner welcomed us wonderfully, the room was spacious and comfortable, the renovation and decor were pleasant, and the terrace and shared kitchen with other guests were pretty. The village has very few dining options, so it would be great to have some basics in the house, even though the food is already very good. Having a cellar, an invitation to visit it or to do a tasting would have been nice.

The room was very clean. The town is historically interesting. There’s a bar on the same street that’s very friendly and offers a good breakfast. Not recommended for families. The room for two cost 85,95 (reasonable for the area and place) but we ended up paying a total of 131 because we finally went with our little daughter (an extra price that was very out of line for the area and type of establishment). It would have been fine to pay a reasonable extra fee (15 or 20 euros) but charging us 45 euros more for a smaller room that already had four beds from the start and that we had already booked fully seemed excessive. Especially since it’s not proportional in terms of value for money or the services the house offers. Avoid people with mobility issues (or many suitcases) because there’s no elevator and many stairs. There’s a kitchen but no coffee or tea. It’s not really a hotel but a house that rents rooms and you have to arrange with the owner to get the keys.
