We didn’t stay at the guest house because two days after the free cancellation period ended the host demanded an extra 100 GEL for the stay, which was very unpleasant.
The hosts were kind and the room was comfortable. Nothing was wrong; it was perfect.
“Обязательно вернемся и рекомендуем.”
Everything was great – the beds slept like infants, the kids loved the comfortable mattresses, and the staff were friendly and met us deep into the night. The place was cozy, spotless, and the host chatted pleasantly with us in the morning. He mentioned that we’d be welcome again next year for a longer stay, and the view of Kazbek was simply stunning. The price was very reasonable.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming, we stayed just before the border, everything was great. If you want, you can park your car in the yard. Thanks for the hospitality.

I was given a hair dryer, but the host was hard to reach and sometimes no one was in the building because my husband was away. My wife handled the shower temperature and gas heater, yet she was out working until late each evening, so we had to endure cold showers and chilly rooms. During two days when the temperature only hit about 10 °C, the gas heater was on, but on a day that warmed to roughly 15 °C the host shut it off, citing high gas prices and a regional shortage. The only heating device they lent us was a 400 W portable heater, and even when we complained about the cold the reply was that it was still early for a gas heater and the portable one was sufficient. The dining room was also cold without heating. The shower water stayed around 40–41 °C even after two attempts to raise it, and there was no towel change service. Using the washing machine daily, we were told after a while to limit ourselves to one load of 5 L, after which we stopped using it. The room lights were dim.
