“Value for money!”

Bloomfield’s staff are the highlight; they’re friendly, though a bit older, and the pool is nice and quiet even though the area is busy. Maintenance could use a bit more attention.

The accommodation was beautiful, rooms were spacious, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of freshly made tasty options; the location was excellent, with Canggu and Seminyak reachable by motorbike that the hotel rents at a good price. Occasionally we ran out of water, but it was fixed quickly when we reported it. The large pool area featured lovely sun loungers.

The staff were friendly, but the air conditioning in our room didn’t work, so it was really hot and the sheets were not changed, leaving no top sheet. The water bottles were refilled jugs, which made us doubt the water’s cleanliness, and we ended up with Bali belly at the end of our stay. Breakfast was not very good, so we ate elsewhere. The place felt quite dirty, as it wasn’t regularly deep‑cleaned, and there was something under our bed that wasn’t ours. The other hotels we stayed at had none of these issues.

Everything – the room, the common areas, the pool – was great, just a bit far from the beach.
