“Ok but pricey for what offers”

The location is good, the room is comfortable with A/C, the building is nice, and the hotel is well decorated. Cleaning in the bathroom needs improvement and the service could be much better.

It was pretty nice. The décor was typical Tunisian and felt like a museum. It comes across as a hotel, but it’s more like a house, hostel, or inn. It’s pretty. Instagram‑worthy. Regarding cleanliness, it was fairly clean, although on the first day we didn’t get our room cleaned, which was surprising for a five‑star rating. Breakfast consisted of cheese and a couple of slices of cold cuts. The claim of “free parking” is false; it’s just a street parking next door that’s hard to access by car. With our rental car we had to maneuver a lot because the Medina streets are narrow and busy. Finding parking is difficult unless you leave the car at the last minute of the night. Breakfast was mediocre, with overripe fruit and no protein (the last day they did serve a fried egg).

“Dar spettacolare!”

The Dar is spectacular—no more could be asked for! Every detail is meticulously cared for, the welcome is fantastic, staff are ready to solve any issue, and the location is superb. It even hosts a display of Tunisian ceramics in a basement worthy of calling a museum. Thanks for everything! We will definitely come back.

My husband and I had a great stay; the Dar is perfectly located for exploring the Medina of Tunis. The room was very comfortable and spotless, the included breakfast was generous and tasty, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. I recommend it and hope to return soon.
