The hotel sits right on the bridge across from the city center, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Ponte De Lima is lovely, bustling with tourists and pilgrims, and its history, architecture, river, and old bridge make it worth a visit. Unfortunately our hotel didn’t live up to expectations and the facilities were poor; the furnishings were badly built and kept, and although we paid for a river view we could only catch a tiny glimpse of the river by standing on tiptoe and peeking from over the roof in front of our small window.
