I drove just a couple of miles to the Vachirawut camp and the hotel was close enough to be convenient; the night arrival felt pretty lonely and dark.

Quiet and private, parking was easy; the tap water had a color and sediment, the parking lot was dim, water pooled near the entrance, and the welcome light wasn’t bright enough.
