I loved the feeling of being right at home – the bed was great and the place was quiet and comfortable, far from the city buzz. The owner arranged airport pick‑up and even helped me rent a bike and a scooter, which made getting around a breeze. The only downside was that it’s a bit out of town, so taxi rides ended up being pricey.

The accommodation matched the photos perfectly and the owners were genuinely pleasant, which was a nice start. The downside is the location: it’s about 3 km from Hanga Roa’s center, and the road is dusty and often without a sidewalk. In the evenings I had to walk past some loose‑running dogs – they didn’t attack, but it was a bit unsettling.

Everything about this place was great – the family members were caring and fun to be around, and the bed was so comfy I woke up feeling cozy every morning. I liked that it’s a little out of town, giving me the peace and quiet I wanted, and the whole place was clean. I’m actually sad to be leaving.
