“Yhden yön budjettimatkailuun ok.”

The location was perfect next to the train station. We drove in and found a very good parking spot on the left side of the station; you can drive down the ramp into the parking hall, and with a slightly larger car you can go straight from the gate into a well‑guarded hall. The price for the day was fine, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The bed and pillows were fine. Breakfast was poor, only coffee and a pastry, nothing else, and the dishes had to be washed by us. The room was plain, but for the price level of Nice it was acceptable.

“Lieber nicht nochmal”

The staff were good. I didn’t use the internet because it gave a security warning when I tried to connect. The room smelled oddly of old grease when I opened the window, and it looked pretty worn; the side rooms had been recently renovated, perhaps I was unlucky. The ceiling didn’t keep the room warm, which was a major issue for me.

“Ce séjour m' a plu. Je garde un bon souvenir.”

The reception was very friendly and I felt comfortable. I also liked being able to relax in the evenings, chat with other guests, and use the facilities like a hot drink and wifi. The proximity to the train station was a plus. I couldn’t join breakfast because I was up very early.

The hostel sits in a spot that’s perfect for interrailers, right next to the train station, opposite a supermarket, and not far from both the old town and the sea. The rooms are nice, the communal areas are great, and the staff were very friendly.

“Buena relación precio-calidad”

The price‑to‑quality ratio was excellent, and the location was ideal for exploring the Côte d’Azur, especially Nice. The hostel had everything needed, and the cleanliness really stood out. Breakfast was good, and some afternoons offered snacks. The mattress had worn out, so sleeping for four days was a bit uncomfortable.
