Exceptional; Gillian was very attentive, nothing was an issue, and the fridge was always well stocked each day. Nothing else—everything was excellent.

I had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay this week in the Room on the River; the large room with a modern ensuite is fully heated, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated. The private off‑road parking, sunny private garden, and comfortable outdoor furniture make for a relaxing setting. The continental breakfast is excellent, with a well‑stocked fridge, wide selection of beverages, snacks, crockery, cutlery, and modern appliances to meet every need. Gillian takes great care to ensure guests have a wonderful experience, and I will definitely return.

Everything was perfect—if I could give a score of 12 out of 10, I would. Gillian and Douglas are lovely people who truly care about guest comfort. I can’t understand why people still chase 5‑star hotels when this top‑class B&B offers such accommodation and personal attention.
