The location is central to the beach and Lecce town, the grounds are picturesque and peaceful, and I liked how spacious the apartment was with plenty of towels. The only drawback is that there is no toaster in the room, but otherwise it’s perfect.

A welcome basket with fresh fruit and vegetables from the estate, a very warm reception, and everyone was very helpful; we often had the pool to ourselves and were supplied with fresh grapes, cucumbers, and apples from the estate’s own organic garden – a relaxing oasis near Lecce.

Liana was a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable host; the setting in a large working vineyard was stunning, parking was excellent, and Wi‑Fi was very good. We stayed in a spacious apartment with a large bedroom upstairs; the shower was small but hot, the kitchen was tiny yet had almost everything we needed, and the fridge could be set to keep drinks cold enough for Australian standards. The pool was beautiful, large, and usually uncrowded. Minor issues: we had to drive to restaurants for dinner (we knew that beforehand), so we had a big lunch out and snacked at home; there was no toaster, which is normal in Italy; and the stairs were very squeaky, so my wife knew whenever I went downstairs at night.

A beautiful, quiet vineyard estate just a few kilometres from Lecce, with a large 15 × 6 m pool shared by the four apartments, comfortable bedding, air‑conditioned rooms, regular deliveries of delicious figs and a welcome basket; nothing else to complain about.
