I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. I especially appreciated how they repeatedly asked if I needed anything or if everything was okay. I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of as a guest. The service was excellent and definitely worth recommending!

“Enttäuschend”

When we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and explained everything. I didn’t realize that the dive centre wasn’t free to choose, but because the hotel’s own centre was full, they kindly let me dive at a centre I picked for the next day. When we checked out early, the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful, returned the outstanding amount, and was the nicest person in the whole hotel! The property is great with a sea view. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the stay at all and moved to another hotel after two days. The hotel doesn’t deliver on its promises. It’s old, dirty, and the staff are very reserved, which left a bad impression. We found ants in the room, the bathroom looked like a prison, there was no truly hot water, the kettle had scorch marks and was broken, and there was mold and strange spots everywhere (in the bed, on the walls). When we tried to change rooms, the receptionist said they were fully booked and it wasn’t possible, even though only about five couples were in the entire hotel. The hotel was almost empty all day, and the staff were just sitting around on their phones even though the place could have used more work. After two days, we switched to another hotel. It’s a shame because the hotel has potential if some love were put into it.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited, with the most welcoming staff who were friendly, helpful, and warm throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed our time here. A special thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Athiri Beach to anyone visiting the Maldives.

“Vacanza in Dhigurah”

The staff were always available. The hotel’s location is among the best with a sea view, 20 m from the room on the first floor. The beach for tourists is always tidy and clean to the left of the hotel, with a few free loungers available. The sea is incomparable, and there’s shade on the beach. The atmosphere feels local. The beach (like a postcard) is frequented by tourists (because of the clothing even during bathing) 500 m to the left and beyond. Construction is ongoing everywhere, with dust and mess. You literally have to walk over it. The island appears to be in deep transformation. The hotel will need renovation because the equipment and furnishings are quite worn out due to the salt.
