The bed was excellent. The shower was great. Breakfast was very good. I had read reviews praising the restaurant, but when we went there it happened to be their day off. The other recommended restaurant was full, so we had to book in advance. We ended up going 13 km further to find a place to eat.

It looks nice when you arrive at night. In the guest room the lighting is cozy, and the pictures, décor, and furniture all match well. Dinner offers Franconian dishes in the evening and everyone is very friendly. Our room was opposite the lounge, and even though meetings were held there, our room was quiet. Parking is available, and from this lovely spot you can explore the surrounding wine-growing areas and the Main loop. In the morning the host serves fried eggs and asks if you need anything else, while also emphasizing the availability of fresh fruit. Thanks for the nice hospitality and the snack in the form of a muesli roll. The step in the middle of the room is a bit odd at first, but eventually you get used to it.

The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, and the staff were open to special requests. Cold drinks were available day and night and were billed at checkout on a trust basis. The room furnishings left a slightly worn impression, and the TV was attached in a clumsy “monkey swing” style. Because of the building design, little daylight entered the room. The door let a lot of noise from the hallway into the room – I was glad the beer garden below the window was closed.

In the middle of the village, the place was tightly enclosed, the staff were very competent and friendly, the breakfast was the best and most varied, and the restaurant served excellent regional cuisine. Nothing negative.

Breakfast and dinner were very good, the staff were sweet and helpful, the beds were comfortable, the surroundings were ideal for hikes and bike trips, I recommend it!!
