Hotel Fazendinha in Penedo lies five minutes’ walk from Cachoeira de Deus waterfall. Sixteen spacious, air‑conditioned chalets feature Brazilian stonework, some with fireplaces. The lodge isn’t 3 400 meters from the center, it’s actually 6 km away, which is a bit farther than expected.

The service was excellent, the venue clean and pleasant, very quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful with plenty of variety and no shortcomings. We’ll definitely come back.
