B&B De Handwijzer Hengelo

“Geweldige plek, fijne host en heerlijk ontbijt!”

The bed was wonderful, the bathroom spacious, and the breakfast fantastic. Nothing to note, except that in summer there might be a few more flies outside. The room is fresh and all windows and the door have screens.

Breakfast was generous and high quality. The terrace next to the room offered afternoon and evening sun, a private bathroom and toilet that we could access directly from the room, and a lockable shed for our bikes. The only suggestion was to make the bed feel more like a double bed, which would be a great improvement.

Everything was perfect: a beautiful, quiet location, a spacious room, tasty breakfast, and a friendly host and hostess. Definitely worth returning. No complaints.

“Aanrader”

I spent a few lovely days at this B&B. The host and gentleman were very friendly. Breakfast was well prepared, not too much nor too little, and something different each day. The fruit display was imaginative and fun. The location is perfect – very quiet and a nice spot to sit outside. For us, it’s a recommendation!

“Echt even helemaal eruit!”

We were greeted warmly, especially the host! We were quickly shown around. Breakfast was fantastic – very extensive, varied each day, with delicious items, plenty of everything. The setting was very peaceful, complete silence at night, beautiful scenery for cycling. The beds were excellent, the bathroom spacious, and we could drink unlimited coffee and tea – we truly enjoyed it. I’m not sure if that’s something I’d normally mention, though.
