The welcome included a few small local goodies and the surroundings are really beautiful, but we booked for four and the room was only set up for two, with us having to make the beds ourselves; the mattresses were mediocre, the outdoor view was hardly pleasant and quite dark, the shower spray was weak, the canoe leaked, the “suite” was far from a suite, the promised food truck never opened and overall it felt like past glory, making the price far too high for what we got.

We stayed in a lakeside cabin with a view over the water and it was fantastic, the owners were constantly helpful and friendly, and we could even rent a canoe to paddle around the lake, which added to the great vibe. The wooden cabin had everything we needed, although a bit neglected and the huge window was dirty, so the outside wasn’t visible; a little more care would have been nice, but it didn’t ruin our experience.

“A restful weekend in the woods”

The cottage was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was cozy. The hot tub was good, but the place needs some maintenance.

We had an amazing stay at Myers Cave Resort, with absolutely beautiful views from our lake‑view cottage that let us soak up the peaceful surroundings. Canoeing and time by the lake were highlights of a truly relaxing getaway. A couple of issues stood out: the cabin door lock wouldn’t secure from the inside, and the AC failed intermittently, forcing us to call the property manager. Despite that, the manager was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive—even in the middle of the night—making us feel safe and appreciated his hospitality.

“Comfortable stay near Bon Echo”

The location is great, right on Marble Lake and close to Bon Echo and Frontenac Dark Sky. The owners are friendly and helpful.
