A fantastic spot, a restored old mill. The owner is very friendly and relaxed, and we had a great stay!

The host was very welcoming, offering a cold drink and warm bread as a greeting. I didn’t speak French and he didn’t speak English, but we managed. The old‑style French house is in a perfect spot for a stop between Spain and Calais. If you want a quiet place to sleep, it’s definitely that! The bedroom was comfortable for the price.

The scenery, the calm, and the friendly welcome from the owner were all good; the only downside was the absence of a mixer in the shower, though it was a minor detail.

Eric, the host, was very welcoming and the building itself was beautiful and interesting; I would have liked to chat more with Eric but my French wasn’t good enough. The outdoor furniture had seen better days.
